Fresh from announcing their global partnership, Olmeca Tequila and Nicky Romero, the chart-topping Dutch DJ, are excited to launch their first venture – a global event campaign that will see several local and international fans feature in Nicky’s next music video.
The video will be shot in the gorgeous Mother City in early 2016 for Nicky’s new track, “Switch on the Night”. This campaign will also be supported by a one-night-only event at Shimmy Beach Club, featuring Nicky Romero and local support acts, plus a digital magazine with Nicky Romero as editor-In-Chief.
Olmeca Tequila has focused on the electronic music scene with their campaigns since 2010, partnering with predominant leaders of the scene; Steve Aoki, Martin Solveig and Alesso. This latest campaign sees their focus narrow even further, focusing exclusively on a close collaboration with the Dutch DJ phenomenon, Nicky Romero. Nicky is a 27 year old EDM DJ, producer and label head, with a strong international fanbase who actively promote him and his music on Social Media, he ranked #8 in the 2014 DJ Mag top 100 DJ, making him one of the largest forces in music right now. He, his music and his fanbase were the perfect match for Olmeca Tequila.

According to Nicky Romero, this collaboration is disruptive in the dance music landscape, going way beyond any endorsement agreement known so far. Why? Launching October 2015, Olmeca Tequila will give Nicky’s fans an exclusive window into his professional and personal life via the digital magazine, www.switchonthenightmag.com.
Olmeca Tequila will also be offering a select number of its and Nicky’s fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be whisked away to Cape Town, South Africa, where they will play part in creating a ground-breaking music video for Nicky’s new work in progress hit, ‘Switch on the Night’.
