Constantia is home to South Africa’s ‘best new restaurant’, an accolade that this week also came with a R10 000 winners’ cheque. Foxcroft Restaurant at High Constantia won the Eat Out/ Retail Capital New Restaurant of the Year Award at the annual restaurant awards held at Grandwest earlier this month.
“The Western Cape did exceptionally well in this year’s Eat Out Awards winning 9 of the top 10 awards. We are proud of Scot Kirton and Glen Foxcroft Williams and how they impressed the judges, and we expect great things from them next year,” says Retail Capital’s CEO Karl Westvig.
Kirton and Williams on Thursday received their R10 000 prize cheque from Retail Capital.
Launched in 1998, the annual Eat Out Restaurant Awards celebrate the South African restaurant industry with accolades including the Top 10 Restaurants, Chef of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, and Service Excellence Awards.
The winners of the 2016 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurants Awards were announced at a glamorous Sunday lunch at GrandWest on Sunday 20 November 2016.
