Eddie Izzard “Force Majeure” live in South Africa

Eddie Izzard will be in South Africa for his “Force Majeure” world tour in June brought to you by Mick Perrin productions, Real Concerts and 94.7 Highveld Stereo.

Eddie Izzard is an international comedy sensation and the station is proud to bring him to SA’s shores,” said 94.7 Highveld Stereo Station Manager, Ravi Naidoo.

Izzard is set to perform in Cape Town at the GrandWest Casino on June 18, while he has a standing engagement with Jo’burg comedy lovers from 21 to 23 June at the Sandton Convention Centre.

In 2011 he performed to a sold–out Madison Square Garden in New York. He spent a three-month residency at the Théâtre de Dix Heures in Paris performing STRIPPED: ‘Tout en Francais’ (in French!) and thereafter became the first stand-up comedian to host a solo show at the Los Angeles’ legendary Hollywood Bowl. It was an extraordinary year from an extraordinary man.

Never one to rest on his laurels, he now plans to take on the world with a brand-new comedy tour, “FORCE MAJEURE.” Set to be the most extensive comedy tour ever. From Cardiff to Kathmandu, Moscow to Mumbai, he will visit 25 countries throughout Europe, USA, Africa, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, India, Nepal and The Far East.
