Red Hot Events and Blue Moon proudly announce the usually quiet Felix Unite campsite close to Swellendam will once again be transformed into a slightly surreal spot of revelry, raging rock and soulful tunes tucked in next to the mighty Breede River.
The 2014 installment of Up the Creek promises to be the ultimate happy, happening festival. So herewith the first line up announcement for Up the Creek 2014.
Springbok Nude Girls (20th year anniversary tour), Jeremy Loops, Black Cat Bones, Wonderboom; Desmond & the Tutus, The Plastics, Shortstraw, Dave Ferguson and the Mean Black Mambas, Gerald Clark, Beatenberg and many more.
2014 heralds the 20 year anniversary of the Springbok Nude Girls and as Arno Carstens says “The year will be all about a special celebration of music for us as band members looking back at over two decades of songwriting, recording albums and touring; and all the beautiful memories it conjures up”. With that in mind it is with great pleasure to start off 2014 by accepting an invitation to play the prestigious Up the Creek festival. Up the Creek holds many memories for us and we are very excited to play there again after all these years.”
The final line up will consist of more than 30 bands, but this is enough to get your mouth watering for now. More line up announcements in October!
