On 21 December, Big Dreamer Productions are going bigger and better with this year’s “The Summer Experience 2013“ with new sponsors, Kia Motors and Malibu Rum adding to the exciting party experience.
Taking place at The River Club in Observatory, Cape Town, one can expect a world-class production, top live acts, an exclusive VIP area and gourmet food stalls.
This day and night event features a line-up that dreams are made of: with international super star Fatman Scoop, and local legends Danny K (bought to you by Kia Motors), Goodluck and MiCasa among others.
Bounce in-time to the beats on the tailor-made ‘soft dance floor’; there will be plenty of shaded and comfortable seating too. Quench your thirst at the Malibu Cocktail Island, or at one of the many bars, which are spread conveniently throughout the event, or simply kick back and enjoy the view from the Kia Car Lounge.
Adding to the list of sponsors are Good Hope FM and African Pride Hotels (15 On Orange)— and together these brands create a sense of cutting-edge luxury combined with contemporary entertainment.
Headlining the event is silver-tongued rapper and DJ Fatman Scoop. The fierce performer is known for his ‘rambunctious baritone hyping of a track’ as well as for his video cameos with Piddy, 50 Cent and Elephant Man to name a few. He’s equally famous for his popular radio show on America’s most listened to hip-hop station, NY’s Hot 97 FM, where his ‘booming voice, catchy hooks, electrifying energy and charismatic presence’ have earned him legions of loyal fans.
Multi SAMA Award winning, local R&B singer, Danny K, needs no introduction. And, now the pop star is back with his 5th album, Good Look, and attendees to the event will be treated to fresh tunes as well as classic hits.
Mi Casa Music has taken South Africa by storm with their latest album “Su Casa” and fans were treated to a showcase at a recent album launch in collaboration with Big Dreamer Productions in Kimberley.
Mi Casa merges dance music, jazz and disco, to create a unique brand of house music. The band is made up of three members: Dr Duda, who is a DJ and producer, J’Something who is on guitar and vocals, and trumpeter, Mo-T. Think soulful vocals, keys, and guitar riffs, topped with jazzy trumpet notes.
The supporting line-up boasts the top local talent of DJ Kent, Goodluck, Mathew Gold, Milkshake, Tyrone Paulsen, DJ Loyd, DJ Mixi, Andy Carr, Carl Wastie and DJ Lyle.
This is more than just a music event— The Summer Experience 2013 is a holistic summer festival that includes splash pools, spaces to relax and unwind, delicious food as well as a visual feast of lighting and décor to enjoy. There’s something for all the senses to be enthralled by.

I think I should win because I’ve firstly had a hard and long year of work and need to unwind at the Summer Experience. I’ve been waiting all year to attend the event and when wanting to buy tickets for myself and my Girlfriend I had to use the money (and other money) to pay for my cousins school fees so that he could receive his report. After being there last year it would be a crime not to be there this year, so please can I be the winner, thanx.

I think I should win because I narrowly missed out from winning 2 tickets from the event organisers,Big Dreamer Events;-( I was the 999th follower on their twitter page.
I am dying to go and experience what this amazing event promises to bring to our beautiful Mother City. I sadly can’t afford it because I am getting married soon and we all know how costly that can be lol.
