On Saturday, 15th March, 4Leaf agency together with the South African Irish Association, will be putting on a St Patrick’s Day event like never seen before at the Wild Clover Farm situated just outside of Stellenbosch.
Look forward to a sea of green and gold as you celebrate this festive day with an amazing line-up of local artists showcasing their talents.
Headliner and SA Idols finalist Mark Haze and other groups Boomslang Alley, Long Time Citizen, Ratrod Cats, De Wallen Band and Skelmbosch will bring music to your ears. And, of course the event would not be complete without Irish dancing displays, delicious food and plenty of drink including craft beer, wine and Irish staples such as whiskey and the ‘Black Stuff’!
The Wild Clover Farm, provides the perfect venue to host the festivities with its country pub, Wild Clover Brewery, Winery and Coffee Roastery which will all be open for visitors to enjoy.
In true St Paddy’s day tradition get your green on and stand a chance of winning spot prizes for best dressed – think green gold and orange, 4 leaf clovers, leprechauns and pots of gold! The crazier the better!
The inaugural event is the brainchild of Frankie Hannigan, Director of 4Leaf Agency and an Irishman himself, who had spent several years in the Western Cape searching for the best St.Paddy’s events around, only to be left with the realisation that you need an Irishman to recreate what is, and has been, the biggest party in Ireland and across the globe for many years.
“St Patrick’s Day is all about coming together and celebrating the culture and sprit of Irish tradition with food, friends and festivity”, said Frankie Hannigan. “We look forward to the event and to seeing Cape Town and Stellenbosch locals join us for what will be a St Paddy’s Day to remember!”.
