Le Roi Beach Bar in Camps Bay has teamed up with Monkey Shoulder Whiskey to bring Cape Town an unforgettable repeat Saturday night experience.
It’s a night of threes; and the King’s patrons can expect to SEE three signature cocktails on the menu each with a Monkey Shoulder twist.
Accomplished mixologist, Dom Walsh, has carefully crafted these cocktails.
To complement the signature cocktails and for your aural pleasure, the King’s patrons will HEAR the upbeat sounds of three of Cape Town’s favourite DJs; Candice Heyns, JanuaryOne and Dale Parker.
So in the words of the King, we ask that you SPEAK of “Everything is better in threes!”
Le Roi Beach Bar
A new jewel has been added to the Camps Bay crown; LE ROI (pronounced; “Le Wah”) overlooks the sandy white expanse of Cape Town’s most famous beach. It embraces like-minded people with a passion for life, music and art. A multipurpose space that is diverse enough to cater for Cape Town’s unpredictable climate; especially since we are heading into our winter months.
Monkey Shoulder
Monkey Shoulder is triple malt, Scotch Whiskey. The expression “monkey shoulder” harks back to whiskey making heritage, referring to a condition that malt-men sometimes picked up while working long hours, turning the barley by hand. It had a tendency to cause their arm to hang down a bit, similar to a monkey’s. This injury has been consigned to the past and today the name Monkey Shoulder lives on as an affectionate tribute, to honour the hard graft of all the malt-men past and present.
