Due to the popularity of Tuesday date night, HQ have decided to move this amazing Cape Town special into the summer months. As of Tuesday, 16 September 2014, HQ will be launching #DateNight Summer Edition with a new wine offering, The Wolftrap Red.
About the Wolftrap Red:
Grapes from selected vineyards in the Swartland were used for this blend. Low yields, small berries, intense colour and spicy flavours contribute to a harmonious blend. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak prior to blending and bottling.
The blend consist of Syrah 66%, Mourvédre 32% and Viognier 2%.
Assorted black-fruit, violets and a hint of oak leads to a smooth savoury palate with a peppery finish. Soft tannins with lingering flavours makes for easy drinking.
So whether you’re on a first date, celebrating love (in which case book a babysitter), entertaining a friend or impressing the in-laws – their chic establishment provides just the ambience for the perfect date night out.
