The Summer Sound System is Cape Town’s latest edition to the outdoor calendar; with the perfect blend of the world’s favorite sounds, the celebration of the sun and warm nights set the scene for a multi-genre gathering of like minded lovers of freedom, music and happiness.
Skazi Live – featuring live violinist Vitali
Skazi is an Israeli psychedelic trance duo, formed in 1998 by members Asher Swissa and Assaf B-Bass.
Their first trance album Animal, released in September 2000 was revolutionary in its sound and direction. Coming from a punk and hardcore scene, Skazi brought a new and innovative twist, combining electronica with live guitar riffs and storming sounds.
In March 2002 Skazi released their second album, Storm, followed by Total Anarchy in the summer of 2006.
Skazi also released three compilation albums between 2001-2004 to huge success. Their tracks have been featured on over 40 albums or compilations distributed worldwide.
Skazi has toured to every corner of the globe, performing mainly at big raves in front of tens of thousands of people in Israel, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Greece, South Africa, Switzerland, Netherlands, Portugal, Australia, Russian Federation, India, Spain, UK, Bulgaria, Italy, Hungary and many other countries. Some of the events and festivals performed at have been Fuji Rock festival in Japan, The Gathering in Japan, XXXperience in Brazil and many more.
