In its initial act as sponsor of Rocking the Daisies’ Electronic Dome, Huawei Culture Club has announced massively popular SA rap duo PHFAT as the first electronic act to perform at the festival this October.
The Electronic Dome houses the second-largest stage at Rocking The Daisies and hosts some of the festival’s biggest local and international artists.
This year Huawei South Africa (a leading smartphone supplier) – through its Huawei Culture Club app platform – will amplify the Electronic Dome from beginning to end with loads of incredible features including a chill lounge, charging stations, free Wi-Fi and access to cutting-edge music and technology.
Its sponsorship of the Electronic Dome forms a large part of Huawei’s strategy to engage with the SA consumer in a meaningful way through music.
In just a few short months Huawei Culture Club has created a strong association with electronic music, having secured partnerships and sponsorships with many large-scale, high-profile music events around the country such as Ultra, Above & Beyond SA Tour, the Robin Schulz Sound of Light Tour – and now Rocking the Daisies.

When Huawei Culture Club’s Rocking the Daisies launch tickets went on sale at the end March exclusively through the app, they sold out in less than two minutes.
