Whether your wine knowledge is expert or currently nonexistent, you’re bound to enjoy the first Wine Geek Weekend Workshop at Boschendal on Saturday, 1 August and Sunday, 2 August.
Here, you’ll gain valuable insight from Boschendal wine makers, Richard Duckitt and Lizelle Gerber, Wines of South Africa Communications Manager Andre Morgenthal, and the Cape Wine Academy which will present an SA versus Global red and white wine tasting.
In addition to talks, tastings, vineyard and cellar tours, the weekend includes a wine & food pairing dinner in The Werf Restaurant, Â co-hosted by Boschendal executive chef Christiaan Campbell.
With accommodation available in beautifully restored cottages on the farm this is also an ideal opportunity for groups of friends to get together for a fun and informative weekend.
