Blissful blue skies, rolling green lawns and abundant vineyards, summer heat and cool tunes, this is the playground of a new day time experience, “Tune Out” – Summer picnics.
Listen to some Deep house music whilst enjoying a picnic with friends and like-minded people. The unique feature of a late lunch in the wine region will allow people that enjoy wine tasting in the area to pull in to the venue later compared to the classical lunch time settings.
Only 35min from CBD nestled in the idyllic Paarl / Franschoek Valley lies the enigmatic and indefinite Flenterskloof farm. Under the majestic watch of the ancient mountains, a new concept in outdoor parties comes to life.
Launching on the 21 November 2015, “Tune Out” events will redefine summer outdoor picnics with a series of parties that include novel elements like a super slide and variations of food served picnic style, a full bar service to keep everyone refreshed and a lake and swimming pool for keeping cool. The focus is on people enjoying themselves, connecting over music and getting to know each other. “Tune Out” aims to reach the residents of Paarl, Stellenbosch and of course Cape Town, but also Groovy Tourists that back home enjoy initiatives like day time picnics and festivals.
Above all; music is key, the emphasis is on curating an artist flow featuring only the highest caliber of South African and Global professionals.

Dynamo Concepts, the company behind the event has included a Funktion-One sound rig and Robe lighting to put on this unique production.
Herman Calis from the Netherlands is founder of the Hawawa Trust in SA and Dynamo Concepts that presents the “Tune Out” summer picnics. “We have many unique and novel ideas that have all to do with outdoor events. At a later stage we will also aim for corporate events. Our mission is to bring renewal & pick up on global trends”
Dino Moran South African House music icon and creator of “Tune Out” says that top international acts are planned for the series of 9 events, all to take place on the Flenterskloof farm this summer season. “Our focus is bringing the fun back into the House music scene and celebrating how good life is on a perfect Cape Town summers day”.
