Cape Town Comedy Club presents its very first one-man show with South Africa’s funniest Jewish Xhosa speaking comedian, Nik Rabinowitz in “Fortyfied”. After a stellar run at the Baxter Theatre, Fortyfied comes to Cape Town Comedy Club on Monday 6 & Tuesday 7 February 2017.
“If forty is the new thirty there is no finer confirmation of that then the exuberance and boundless energy of Rabinowitz” – Tracey Saunders, Weekend Special
Nik Rabinowitz has just turned forty, and is on the verge of a midlife crisis. Except that apparently forty is the new thirty, so now he’s not sure when to have the crisis, which is a crisis in itself. Fortyfied explores a variety of subjects. There are stories, there are accents and all of it is funny, which is all you really have to know. Fortyfied. It’s a pun, or a spelling error – depending on your worldview.
