This Winter season; Perdeberg Wines will be taking guests on a delectable soup tasting journey when they introduce their Barrel & Hops Soup Pairing experience. Think rich, creamy, savoury spoonfuls of soup, served with freshly baked bread or crispy croutons on the side, paired with crisp, malty beer and delicious, award-winning wines.
Kicking off on Thursday, 1 June 2017, each session consists of three different flavoured hearty soups paired with three newly launched Hops & Co Craft beers and three premium wines. Each pairing combination is carefully arranged by Perdeberg’s winemakers to provide the guests the best possible depth of flavour and exceptional tasting experience.
The pairing will be as follows:
- Vineyard Collection Grenache Blanc 2015 and Hops & Co Pale Ale paired with Butternut Soup
- Vineyard Collection Malbec 2015 and Hops & Co Pilsner paired with Luxury Mushroom Soup
- Dryland Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 and Hops & Co Lager paired with Tomato Soup
If you have more of a sweet tooth, then the Marshmallow and Wine Pairing Experience is something you don’t want to miss out on, and for the little ones, the Kiddies Flavoured Milk and Marshmallow Pairing.

Kiddies Flavoured Milk and Marshmallow Pairing
Is there any child who does not like a good glass of flavoured milk with a tasty, sweet treat on the side? Starting on Thursday, 1 June 2017, Perdeberg Wines has launched something exciting for the little ones to delight in at their Tasting Centre.
Kids can enjoy a pairing of a different kind; flavoured milks and marshmallows. Three uniquely flavoured marshmallows have been carefully selected and combined with three specially selected flavoured milks. Creamy, colourful and fluffy; this is sure to bring joy to the little ones’ taste buds.
Flavours include the following:
- Strawberry Milk paired with Vanilla and Smartie Marshmallow
- Chocolate Milk paired with Caramel Marshmallow dipped in Milk Chocolate
- Banana Milk paired with Chocolate Marshmallow dipped in White Chocolate
