Synergy Live, Cape Town’s legendary Live and Electronic Music Festival is finally back! They’ve found a new home just 45 kilometres from the city, with all the beautiful scenery and spectacle you’ve come to expect. Think amazing music and sound, killer decor, mind-blowing audiovisuals, multiple stages, the best in artisanal food and 3 fun-filled days and nights in nature with friends old and new.
With current water crisis levels, they’ve had to sadly say goodbye to Theewaterskloof – Synergy Live’s home for the last few years. Though we’ll all miss the times spent there, they’re excited for a fresh start at the new venue, Anura Wine Estate. Located an easy 45km outside of Cape Town in the foothills of the Simonsberg Mountains, Anura Estate is a nature-lovers oasis. With rolling green forests, stunning mountain vistas, large open spaces and a sparkling clear dam, conditions are perfect for three days of summer fun.
A new venue means a new layout, and the Synergy Live team have been putting the finishing touches on something really special. With reduced walking distances, shaded camping and scenic stages, this promises to be their best year yet. Feel the soft grass underfoot, take in the beauty of the Simonsberg and soak up the sun – welcome to Synergy Live at Anura!
This year, Synergy Live are switching things up a little with a new sound direction, new stages, new collaborators and a few other little surprises that are going to put serious smiles on your dials! Over the years, they’ve always strived to bring the sound of the underground with acts and artists on the cutting-edge of their craft. Synergy Live 2017 is no different, so prepare for a weekend of good vibrations and sonic sensations!
Red Bull Studio Main Stage
It’s the heartbeat of the festival: an extraordinary visual adventure, showcasing an equally world-class line-up of live acts and DJ’s across all musical genres, from big-name international stars who will blow you away – to superheroes of tomorrow earning their stripes. The Red Bull Main Stage is the place where rocking out in the great outdoors really comes to life
Paradise City Beach Bar
For all you house lovers, cool cats and groove freaks, the Paradise City Beach Bar! With their motto of “Less Serious, More Fun” and featuring the very best in the local and international house, techno and electronica, the Paradise City Beach Bar is going to get all kinds of steamy! And when the music and the vibe get a little hot, take a refreshing dip in the dam with an ice-cold cocktail and a toast to the good life.
LoveAll Hip Hop Stage
In association with LoveAll, Synergy Live is proud to announce the addition of a Hip Hop stage to this year’s line up for the first time. With the no-nonsense policy of “good music, good people”, the LoveAll stage will offer a forward-thinking blend of hip-hop, bass and future beats.

1. Take the N1 out of Cape Town heading towards Paarl.
2. Follow N1 towards R44. (approximately 40kms)
3. Take the left exit no 47 for the R44 toward Stellenbosch /R101/Klapmuts/Wellington
4. At the T junction Turn right onto R44
5. Drive for 1.1km and turn left onto Klapmuts – Simondium Rd
6. Drive for approximately 1km and the venue will be on your right hand side
