Spier is celebrating the season with a fresh new pairing, the Spring Tasting, available from 1 September – 31 November 2018. Soak up the sun on the banks of the Spier dam while you sip on four stellar Spier wines, perfectly paired with delicious canapés:
- The Private Collection Organic Rosé with ajo blanco– a Spanish white gazpacho of almonds and bread with strawberry and mint salsa,
- The Ideology Sémillon with a “prawn roll”: a buttery toasted brioche topped with prawns, mayonnaise, celery and chives,
- The 21 Gables Pinotage with a blue-veined brie and spiced cranberry compote wrapped in cured beef, and
- Spier’s Méthode Cap Classique with an Italian-style honey meringue, blueberries and crushed pistachio in a mini sugar cone
