After what seems like forever they are finally ready for the first cruise & dine on board The Alba on Saturday, 1 September.
The Alba, a first of its kind & the only fine dining restaurant boat in Cape Town will take guests on a tour through the fishing industry and yacht harbour in the V&A Waterfront. It measures twenty-two metres in length with a six-metre beam & will have a capacity of
seventy-two seated guests or a hundred for cocktail functions.
It has been designed to be stable & smooth in the water, with floor to ceiling glass windows, which will ensure a comfortable dining experience with great views regardless of the weather. Additionally, the Alba is fully compliant with the safety regulations of the South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA) and the captain and crew are seasoned veterans, fully qualified to handle a vessel of its size.
Cruise lengths will range between one and a half and two hours, beginning with four cruises a day. The Alba will also cater for private functions such as corporate outings, weddings or gala events.
Cruise menus featuring seasonal, locally sourced ingredients are available for your perusal but they are happy to tailor-make a menu for you.
