Five of South Africa’s funniest and best-known comedians will be performing together in The Big 5 Comedy Show on Saturday, 2 November 2019 at the Grand Arena, GrandWest. These giants of South African stand-up comedy will be bringing the house down when this show is back in Cape Town for one night only.
The Big Five in local comedians facing off against each other in this wildly hilarious show are John Vlismas, Schalk Bezuidenhout, Stuart Taylor, Tumi Morake and Jason Goliath. The show would not be complete without the legendary DJ Ready D who creates an electric atmosphere with his scratching and mixing skills.
“Together these five comics have some of the most impressive resumes in the country,” says Elouise Matthys, the PR and Promotions Manager at GrandWest. “They have appeared on local and international TV shows, starred in movies and performed comedy shows to packed out festivals and theatres across the globe.
