Muizenberg Unity Jam 2019

Unity Jam hosted their first festival in Langa, Cape Town back in 2014, and is set to host the second festival in Muizenberg.

The event in Langa attracted crowds from all walks of life through strategic music programming. Hoping to build on this by not only focusing on great music but by offering a wide range of activities that also appeal to families.

Why Muizenberg – as a location?

Muizenberg is well located, accessible and the community and businesses are used to hosting a large number of visitors.

Muizenberg comprises of the ideal mix of public nature spaces, urban infrastructure and public transport system to create an Urban Lifestyle Style festival using local venues and businesses with an outdoor style festival utilising many areas in and around the town.

The local residents are open-minded, caring, and community-focused residents. They are used to hosting tourist, this along with all the existing attractions makes this dreamy beach community ideal village to host a festival.

Unity Jam is decentralised, self-organising festival. So what does this mean? The Unity Jam management team will design and manage an operating framework that makes it easy for local businesses, artists and charities to participate as partners.

What is the aim of Unity Jam?

Unity Jam is a community festival and the key goals are to support the community by:
